“Watercolor Basics”

Trish will be teaching some watercolor basic techniques including: wet on wet, dry brush, adding salt, using plastic wrap for texture, drawing-off paint with paper towels, indenting and masking. A great class for beginners and for the accomplished artists.
 
Materials Trish Will Supply:
Watercolor Paper
Watercolors-”Cake” Type
Brushes
Water Cups
Pencils/Erasers
Salt
Plastic Wrap
Still-Life Set Up
Students Will Bring:
Watercolor Paper (Only if you prefer a different brand that will be provided)
Brushes (Again, Only if you prefer your own)
Paper Towels
Photos (Optional) Can use your phone for a subject too.
Lunch
 
The cost for this workshop is $50 for IAA members and $65 for non-members.  The deadline to sign-up is July 10, 2026.  No refunds will be offered after this date.  This is a sought-after class and limited space is available, so sign-up early to reserve your spot!
