Glass Painting Workshop with Dayas Silvis
Dayas is going to teach us her amazing art! Learn how to paint on glass that imitates stained glass. This is one of her most sought after commission requests.
This workshop will be held at The Artists Hand Studio from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 29. Cost is $50 for members and $60 for non-members.
Sign up deadline is June 20.
Learn the tools and materials required and, with guidance, create two small projects of your own to take home. Dayas will instruct using simple floral and geometric designs. Easy for beginners!
At the end of the class, she will talk about more advanced items you can create with the same materials. You will leave with a suncatcher and a candle holder!
All materials are provided!
Arts Camp Registration Open
IAA's 23rd Annual Arts Camp is now open for registration! Elementary session is July 15-16 and Secondary session is July 22-26. Scholarship deadline is June 1 and registration deadline is July 1. IAA Annual Show at The Artists Hand Open for Early Bird Entries!
Early Bird registration is now open for the IAA Annual Show, to be held at The Artists Hand during the month of June. All members are invited and encouraged to submit up to two pieces of artwork for the show! Early Bird registration ends May 27. The drop off date for artwork is Monday, June 3, 10 AM - 1 PM at The Artists Hand, with a reception Friday, June 7, from 6 - 8 PM. Artwork may be picked up Monday, July 1 from 10 AM - 12 PM. Please complete the entry form, available under the "Exhibits" tab, and note that membership dues must be paid to enter.
