Landscape Painting in Oils

Every Monday in October (October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30) from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Artists' Hand studio.

Instructor: Beth Wheeler

In this five-week course, we will create 2-3 landscape paintings in oils, working from photo references. For weeks 1 and 2, follow along step-by-step while learning about atmospheric perspective, color mixing, composition, creating texture, and more. For the remaining three classes, create your own landscape painting using your own reference photo, with guidance from instructor Beth Wheeler. This class is open to anyone from beginning students to seasoned painters who would like to brush up on their skills or explore different techniques.
